HAPAS Accreditation is on its Way

IKO Permatrack are in the final stages of achieving HAPAS (Highways Authorities Product Approval Scheme) certification for the Ironwork Reinstatement System.

The benefit of achieving this status means that Highways Engineers will be able to specify Permatrack H as an infill surround system to all types of roadway ironworks, safe with the knowledge that it has been subject to rigorous testing to achieve the necessary standards required for products used in the Highway environment and provides invaluable data on product performance, design and installation for project planning.

Permatarck H provides a flexible and hard wearing solution comprised of bituminous material, ideal for the challenging roadway environment around ironworks; especially those in the wheel track zone that are subject to constant trafficking from both cars and heavy goods vehicles. There are many other features that Permatrack H presents, such as its voidless and waterproof capabilities, making it resistant to ‘freeze-thaw cycling’ which is one of the largest contributory factors to the breakdown of traditional surfacing materials.

In gaining HAPAS approval to compliment the already certified ‘Inlaid Crack Repair System’ IKO Permatrack again shows its commitment to providing the industry with quality accredited products and systems.
