IKO Takes Part in BMBI Round Table Debate

IKO Group MD and BMBI Expert for Roofing Products Andy Williamson recently took part in the Builders Merchant Building Index (BMBI) Round Table Debate. The BMBI is a brand of the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) and the debate was hosted at BMF’s offices in Coventry. It was chaired by the Group Editor of Builders’ Merchants News Jennie Ward.

The BMBI Experts discussed topical issues, and the potential implications for merchants and the wider construction industry. It covered Brexit, Capacity, Housing, Skill Shortages, the Role of the Merchant, and Changing Customer Requirements. The debate was published in two parts in the November/December and January issues of Builders’ Merchants News.

A comprehensive suite of 17 videos of the Debate have also now been completed and are live at www.bmbi.co.uk. The videos cover all main topics, with trailers for each one so viewers can get a flavour of the discussions. Each topic is split into sub categories, such as skill shortages, covering specific issues within each one.
