Richardsons Trek rider, George Wood, placed third at the recent London Nocturne event in London’s City Centre.
Riding against tough completion including eventual winner, multiple Olympic Gold medallist Ed Clancy and second placed, Team Wiggins’ rider and double World Champion, Tom Pidcock, team manager Andy Lyons praised his efforts.
“It was a stunning ride by George who did well to finish third against very tough and esteemed competition,” Andy said.
“It’s been a cracking period for us at Richardson Trek having just won the OVO Energy Tour Series Guest Team competition for the third year running following our success at the final round in Salisbury which was a great event.”
The team now looks to its next event, the UK’s biggest single race day, the National Road Race Championships coming up on July 1st. There the team will compete against some of the best riders in the world with British Sky riders lining up against the orange jerseys of the Team Richardson Trek.
