IKO Polimar ECUV Liquid Waterproofing System
Excellent durability and puncture resistance
UV stable top coat for all weather conditions
Highly flexible in its design application
Car park surfacing and waterproofing accessories can be used to achieve the required performance of car park systems and to match specific project specifications. This may include specific mechanical loads or expected high exposure to aggressive and corrosive factors or to help deal with the extremes of the weather as is often the case with exposed top decks. Car park surfacing accessories can add project specific functionality to the surfacing system, such as heavy duty paving, non-slip finish and colour demarcation.
The location of the car park deck at the top of structures may require high flow performance from robust rainwater outlets. Ramps may require higher abrasion and improved skid resistance surfacing, whilst the bottom level might require additional waterproofing protection against groundwater and moisture from the ground.
The use of components such as fillers, primers and reinforcement fleeces can help to ensure any substrate cracks and penetrations are filled and reinforced. This will improve the performance and extend the life of the car park surface. Jointing tapes and detailing cold applied liquids and accessories can all be used for precision work in difficult areas or where additional strength is needed.
To improve user safety and create a welcoming atmosphere and desired appearance, coloured finishes, demarcation and anti-slip surface surfacing products, deco chips and other decorative accessories can be applied. High-grade paving can be used for hard wearing surfacing where frequent heavy load traffic is expected.
The car park surfacing and waterproofing components, including accessories, should be compatible in order to create a homogenous system capable of a high level of performance. Accessory compatibility can also streamline the project scheduling, especially if the components used require different application methods or curing times.
Most IKO products are manufactured in the UK from responsibly, and where possible, locally sourced materials in order to reduce our carbon footprint and help with the sustainability of your project.
