IKO Roofing Shingles are lightweight, glass fibre based bitumen strip slates. They are easily installed and give the appearance of a highly decorative tiled roof finish. Unfortunately we cannot comment on the structural integrity of the structural roof construction.
We would advise the roofing structure must be able to be able to take the weight of proposed roofing system. This includes both dead loads (Weight of the proposed system) and Live loads (temporary weight e.g. snow, People for maintenance etc.)
The IKO Armourshield Hexagonal Shingle system weight is 11.5Kg per m2. (underlay 1.8Kg per m2 & Shingles 9.5Kg per m2)

No, IKO Armourshield Hexagonal Shingles cannot be installed in wet weather. This has the potential to trap moisture within the build-up. Sealing would be adversely affected.
