IKO Easyseal Self-Adhesive Fully Bonded Underlay is used for main roof areas in cold roof constructions and all detailing beneath IKO Easyseal Capsheets or IKO Easyseal Pro Capsheets. IKO Easyseal Self-Adhesive Fully Bonded Underlay is a high-performance, glass-fibre-reinforced carrier with a heat-activated bitumen SBS elastomeric coating.
The underside has a self-adhesive bitumen coating (protected by a release film) that provides a full bond to primed substrates. It has a 75mm selvedge that facilitates a full bond and rapid installation of the lap joints. The upper surface is protected with a polythene film that facilitates rapid bonding of the subsequent self-adhesive waterproofing layers.
The adhesive coating to the underside is activated when it comes into contact with IKOpro Easyseal Bonding Agent to give a guaranteed bond.
The IKO Easyseal flat roofing system consists of seven high performance membranes. BBA approved (Certificate No. 02/3916) systems have been designed to remove the requirement for hot bitumen or naked flames for anyone installing roofing membranes.
