IKO Metatech Cold Roofing System
In IKO Metatech Systems, the waterproofing consists of a two-component liquid waterproofing product based on PMMA. The waterproofing product is applied quickly, as the second layer is applied wet-on-wet to the first layer and cures quickly in just 45 minutes. The IKO Metatech Systems are thus ideal for surfaces that need to be released quickly.

A two-component coating based on methacrylates that cures after the hardener powder has been incorporated. Apart from fast curing (after only 45 minutes), IKO Metatech is also characterised by rapid installation, as the second layer is applied wet-on-wet to the first layer.

A reinforcement fleece consisting of non-woven polyester with a density of 110 g/m². This fleece is rolled out in the first wet layer of IKO metatech and pressed, and provides the strength, stability and penetration resistance of the system. As the IKO Metatech Roof System can withstand continuous water stagnation and pressure, it is also ideal for sealing ponds, fountains and private swimming pools.

IKOflash is a lead-free flashing material which is ideal for use in areas such as chimney and abutment flashings, roof lights and pitched valley linings. IKOflash is extremely easy to install and offers a modern alternative in situations where lead flashing would traditionally be used. It is made from a modified polyethylene compound with an integral aluminium mesh reinforcement, enabling the product to be worked and formed in the same way as lead. The product is faced with a fine grey mineral.
