IKO Metatech Inverted Roofing System

A two-component coating based on methacrylates that cures after the hardener powder has been incorporated. Apart from fast curing (after only 45 minutes), IKO Metatech is also characterised by rapid installation, as the second layer is applied wet-on-wet to the first layer.

A reinforcement fleece consisting of non-woven polyester with a density of 110 g/m². This fleece is rolled out in the first wet layer of IKO metatech and pressed, and provides the strength, stability and penetration resistance of the system. As the IKO Metatech Roof System can withstand continuous water stagnation and pressure, it is also ideal for sealing ponds, fountains and private swimming pools.

A two-component primer based on methacrylates for bitumen roofing membranes, plastic roofing membranes and asphalt.

IKO enertherm XPS is a rigid extruded polystyrene (XPS) board with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than five. A lightweight, lap jointed board with high compressive strength and performance. Thermal performance of an inverted roof is improved when used in conjunction with IKO enertherm WCL. Used for the thermal insulation of a wide variety of flat roofs including an inverted roof below ballast or paving slabs or a green/garden roof.

IKO enertherm WCL (Water Control Layer) is used as a separating and water control layer in low moisture impact inverted and green roofs. It is used in combination with IKO enertherm XPS as part of the IKO enertherm WCL System for inverted and green roofs.
