IKO Metatech Warm Roofing System

A two-component coating based on methacrylates that cures after the hardener powder has been incorporated. Apart from fast curing (after only 45 minutes), IKO Metatech is also characterised by rapid installation, as the second layer is applied wet-on-wet to the first layer.

A reinforcement fleece consisting of non-woven polyester with a density of 110 g/m². This fleece is rolled out in the first wet layer of IKO Metatech and pressed, and provides the strength, stability and penetration resistance of the system. As the IKO Metatech Roof System can withstand continuous water stagnation and pressure, it is also ideal for sealing ponds, fountains and private swimming pools.

The underside has a self-adhesive bitumen coating that provides a 40% partial bond allowing vapour dispersion between the membrane and substrate. The underside of the IKO system H-A Underlay has a 75mm selvedge that is facilitates a rapid installation of the lap joints. The self-adhesive coating is protected by a release film.

IKO Systems SA VCL is composed of a thick, impervious aluminium core, reinforced with a tough, polyester base and coated with a polymer modified bitumen. This coating is protected on the underside with a release film backing and the top surface has a fine mineral finish. A selvedge of 100mm width, protected by a release film provides a quick means of completing side laps.

IKOpro Systems Bonding Agent is a fast drying primer for adhesion of self-adhesive bitumen roofing membranes. The solvent based primer, based on synthetic rubber and resins is specially formulated to activate self-adhesive bitumen roofing membranes to promote a strong bond even at low temperatures.

IKOpro PU Adhesive for Insulation Boards meets the demand for a safe, effective and green solution to securely bonding insulation board to various roof substrates. It is solvent-free, non-flammable and low-odour. A high-foaming solvent-free PU adhesive specifically developed to securely bond a wide range of insulation boards.
