IKO UPXL Torch-On Cap Sheet

IKO UPXL Torch-On Cap Sheet is a heavyweight, robust membrane with a granular finish on the top surface and a thermofusible film on the reverse side. Used as the main cap sheet on any IKO UPXL Hybrid specification.

The IKO UPXL membranes utilise an optimised SBS modified coating to give enhanced flexibility, durability and overall workability. The base fabric is a graphite coated polyester/glass fibre laminate, providing optimum strength, flexibility, dimensional stability and fire performance.

IKO UPXL offers the best guarantees /available, in a choice of hot or cold applications, available in two popular system options – Flame-Free and Hybrid:

Flame-Free System: Completely torch-free system offering a completely fame-free specification option, where projects require a flame-free application.

The IKO UPXL Torch-On cap Sheet high performance bitumen membrane flat roofing system has been tested under ENV1187 and has been classified as BROOF(t4) in accordance with BS EN 13501-5: 2005 fire classification of construction products and building elements – classification using data from external fire exposure to roof tests. This is made possible with the use of IKO Prevent Graphite Fire Wall Technology with self-extinguishing properties.
