Bituminous membrane system

We offer a range of bituminous membrane systems, from self-adhesive and torch-on systems to our high performance hybrid system that combines our proved and tested roofing products. The robust membrane has excellent mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and fire performance qualities. Our bituminous felts are BBA certified (91/2671) to the durability of at least 25 years. 

EPDM roofing

Our range of EPDM roofing solutions is effective for both warm and cold roof installations. The highly durable membranes are UV resistant, lightweight, and flexible. They are rapid and relatively easy to install, making them ideal for large scale projects or roofs with a lot of detailing. IKO EPDMs have fire resistant qualities.

Cold applied liquid roofing

The fully bonded IKO cold applied liquid roofing is a safe and fast flat roofing option. It is ideally suited to refurbishments and repairs where it can offer a seamless finish. This type of roofing is frequently specified for new roofs with complicated details, complex upstands, a variety of penetrations and the need for rapid application. 

Felt roofing

Felt roofing creates durable built up roofing systems using bituminous felts. Although nail fixing or cold adhesive can be used to install a felt roofing system, torch on is the established application method. These systems are economical to install, easy to repair or replace, and offer outstanding water resistant properties.

Single-ply roofing

Single-ply roofing uses membranes that are rapid and relatively easy to install over a variety of substrates. There is no need for gas torches or open flame, making the installation safe. The lightweight, flexible membranes are available in various colours and provide excellent design flexibility. IKO single-ply roofing membranes have a BBA certified life expectancy of 40 years.

Hot melt roofing

Hot melt roofing systems have high tensile strength, creating a tough surface with outstanding resistance to impact damage. Low UV resistance means hot melts are often used for roofs where the surface is ballasted or paved. And, of course, for green roofs. IKO hot melts can be delivered in hot charge tankers, ready to install. 

Mastic asphalt roofing

One of the oldest roofing materials, mastic asphalt helps create a monolithic finish with great waterproofing qualities. It is a versatile roofing product that can be applied over various substrates and over flat and curved or sloped areas of warm, cold or buried roofs. IKO mastic asphalt comes in different grades to suit project requirements. 

IKO products are manufactured in the UK from responsibly, and where possible, locally sourced materials in order to reduce our carbon footprint and help with the sustainability of your project. The majority of our roofing systems are also BBA certified.
