why our IKO UPXL system is only available to premier IKO
Contractors (those who are members of ACCESS IKO).
ACCESS IKO accredited Contractors* are specially selected for their standards of workmanship and professional integrity. As a client, it means you can be confident of having the UK’s best possible solution, guaranteed.
ACCESS IKO Contractors must also:
- Have been trading with IKO for at least 5 years and an approved contractor for a minimum of 3 years
- Member of a recognised roofing/waterproofing trade association and quality management system
- Must be financially stable
- Hold insurance cover of £10 million
- Health and safety accreditations
- Installing operatives must hold a minimum NVQ level 2 in BUR or Asphalt
- Proof of competent operatives, who have passed a relevant IKO system training programme.

All IKO projects are installed by trained and approved contractors, with dedicated training and experience of installing IKO roofing systems. A schedule of work is always generated to reduce disruption during installation, ensuring efficient project management.
